Last weekends (25th – 26th May) Hagerty Radical Cup UK Round 2 at Snetterton saw some fantastic racing, featuring our very own Managing Director & Technical Director behind the wheel of their Korniche & Made For Trade branded SR1 racing motorcars,
Bradley Gaunt, Made For Trade’s Managing Director, and his brother Ashley, Technical Director, put on a thrilling display over the race weekend.
While podium finishes weren’t on the cards for Ashley this time around there was a major highlight for Team Made For Trade. Brad secured his first podium finish in Race 3, taking an impressive 3rd place after a fierce battle with the top contenders.
Here’s a quick race summary:
- Race 1: Ashley finished 6th with Bradley right behind him in 7th after a spin by another driver bunched up the field.
- Race 2: After a good start Ashley spun off leading to Bradley getting the better of him, finishing in 4th.
- Race 3: This is where Bradley shined! He secured a well-deserved podium finish (3rd place) a sweet victory considering the challenging conditions which hung around the whole weekend at Snetterton.
- Race 4: Bradley finished 4th, while Ashley finished 6th. Shaw the championship leader took another win, extending his points lead.
Congratulations to Bradley for his first podium! We’re incredibly proud of both Ashley and Bradley for their dedication and skill on the track. We’re excited to see what they achieve in the next round at Oulton Park, 22nd-23rd June.
