Here at Made For Trade, we believe that our people are our greatest asset. Today, we had the immense pleasure of celebrating a truly remarkable milestone – 35 years of dedication from our wonderful Brenda Webster!
Thirty-five years of commitment, hard work, and being an integral part of the Made For Trade family. Brenda’s journey with us is a fascinating one. She initially joined Made For Trade as a Cleaner, before taking on roles such as a Receptionist, then moving into Remedials / Customer Service, followed by a period in Sales, and now, for many years, has been a vital member of our Accounts Department, working as our Credit Controller. It’s a testament to Brenda’s character and the positive impact she has had on our company across various departments over so many years, gaining a unique and genuine understanding of the entire business.
We took a special moment today to show Brenda just how much we appreciate everything she has brought to Made For Trade. From her daily contributions to the wealth of experience she carries, Brenda is a valued member of the team, and her presence has undoubtedly helped shape the success of the business today.
When Catherine (HR Manager), asked Brenda the secret to her long service here. Her response? A simple, “Because I love it.”
Can’t say fairer than that can we? It speaks volumes about Brenda’s passion for her work and the positive environment we strive to have here at Made For Trade.
Brenda herself reflected on her time with us, saying, “We’ve had some good times, and we still have plenty good times to come.”
To show our gratitude, Managing Director, Bradley Gaunt had the honour of presenting Brenda with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and an extra three days of well-deserved holiday and also £350 worth of vouchers as a token of our appreciation. The office was also filled with warm wishes and plenty of heartfelt hugs from colleagues.
